We are pleased to inform you that Old Dominion University will be conducting its Commencement ceremonies for the Fall Class of 2023 at Chartway Arena on Saturday, December 16!

9:00 a.m. - Arts & Letters, Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Cybersecurity

12:30 p.m. - Business, Education and Professional Studies, Health Sciences, Graduate School, Data Science, Nursing

Tickets will be required for all guests attending each ceremony. 
•   All guests must have a ticket to enter the venues. Tickets are only distributed to qualified graduating students. All children over the age of 2 require a ticket. Children 2 years of age and younger are not required to have a ticket if they can sit in a parent's lap. (Full ticket policies for students)

•   If you do not have a guest ticket, auxilliary viewing is provided for events in Chartway Arena. Auxilliary viewing is located in the Big Blue Room of the Chartway Arena. Please follow the signage to the entrance on 43rd Street. Guests in auxilliary viewing will see the processional enter the building (it enters via the multipurpose room) and then view the remainder of the ceremony on-screen.
