We are pleased to inform you that Old Dominion University will be conducting its Commencement ceremonies for the Fall Class of 2024 at Chartway Arena on Saturday, December 14!
9:00AM - Arts & Letters, Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Cybersecurity, Data Science
12:30PM - Education & Professional Studies, Business, Health Sciences, Nursing, Graduate School
- Doors open approximately 90 minutes prior to ceremony time.
- Please be advised that this event is expected to have high attendance. Guests planning to attend are strongly encouraged to arrive early and be in your seats 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.
- Balloons, large bags, and wrapped gifts are not permitted inside the venue. Additional non-permitted items can be found here.
- Merchandise and flowers will be available for purchase in the main lobby.
- Parking is available in the Constant Center 43rd and 45th Street Garages. Click here for directions and parking.

- Tickets will be required for all guests attending each ceremony. Tickets are only distributed to qualified graduating students. All children over the age of 2 require a ticket. Children 2 years of age and younger are not required to have a ticket if they can sit in a parent's lap.
