DESCRIPTION:Longtime NFL quarterback Taylor Heinicke highlights the 2026 induction class for the Hampton Roads Sports Hall of Fame, along with high school basketball coach Darnell Dozier, tennis player Roy Beskin, longtime coach and administrator Joann Renn-Barnes, and surfing promoter Pete Smith. The class will be inducted at a banquet at the Big Blue Room in Chartway Arena in Norfolk on Wednesday, Nov 18. Reservations are being accepted now.  The induction banquet will be in the Big Blue Room at the Chartway Arena, 4320 Hampton Blvd. in Norfolk, on Wednesday, Nov. 18. Free parking will be available in the adjacent garage on 43rd Street. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with dinner and the induction program at 7. Tickets are $70, and a table of eight can be reserved for $500.
