Museum of the Moon is a large-scale touring installation by UK artist Luke Jerram. The large moon sculpture is internally lit and features detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. Accompanying the installation is a surround sound composition created by BAFTA and Ivor Novello award-winning composer Dan Jones.
On the campus of Old Dominion University, The Museum of the Moon will serve as a venue for lunar-inspired events. The Moon will be in orbit and on view Friday -
Sunday, October 15-17, 2021 — taking over 43rd Street and surrounding areas with a 3-day pop-up festival.
