The Mother’s Day Weekend Classic Soul will perform for one show only at Chartway Arena in Norfolk, VA on Friday May 10, 2024 with Showtime 8:00p / Doors 7:00p. This epic event will present a fun filled evening of R&B music. Artists include Grammy Nominated Charlie Wilson and The Whispers.

THE WHISPERS - R&B/Soul vocal group formed in 1964 in Los Angeles, California. The group consists of Walter Scott, Wallace Scott and Leaveil Degree. They are best known for their hit songs such as “Rock Steady”, “And the Beat Goes On”, “It’s a Love Thing”, and "Lady".

The Whispers earned two platinum and five gold albums certified by the RIAA. Notably, their self-titled album “The Whispers” and “Love Is Where You Find It” both reached the No. 1 spot on the R&B albums chart.
