CONSTANT CENTER NAMED “BEST MUSIC VENUE” BY COASTAL VIRGINIA MAGAZINE 2015 READERS’ CHOICE AWARDS

Norfolk, VA – The Ted Constant Convocation Center, located on the campus of Old Dominion University captured first place in the Best Music Venue category from Coastal Virginia Magazine’s Best of Readers’ Choice Awards for 2015. The Best of Readers’ Choice contest is a reader-driven competition recognizing businesses in Hampton Roads. Coastal Virginia Magazine will featured the winners in the July 2015 issue.

Global Spectrum, operators of the Constant Center, recorded a banner year at the Constant Center with multiple sold-out shows, including TLC’s Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo, R&B legend Charlie Wilson, ScHoolboy Q, and the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters.  Other noteworthy events included country sensation Brantley Gilbert, comedian Katt Williams, James Taylor, Disney Junior Live and Sesame Street Live.
