Norfolk, VA – The Ted Constant Convocation Center on the campus of Old Dominion University, operated by Global Spectrum, has once again been recognized as one of the premier mid-sized venues in the country. “Global Spectrum and the staff at the Ted Constant Convocation Center are honored to achieve this level of status among such elite facilities,” states Doug Higgons, Regional Vice President for Global Spectrum and General Manager for the Ted Constant Convocation Center. “We are incredibly proud of our staff’s hard work and thankful for the continued support of our patrons in the community that make it possible to bring great entertainment to Old Dominion University and the region at large. This ranking couldn’t be achieved without the partnership of the artists, promoters and managers that continue to recognize the loyalty of their fans in Norfolk.”

Noteworthy events over the past year that have attributed to this achievement include: the sold-out Imagine Dragons concert, record-breaking Harlem Globetrotters attendance, comedian Katt Williams, family shows including the Fresh Beat Band and Old Dominion University spring concert starring Chance The Rapper, among others.
